Mercy Ministries compassionately meets the needs of those suffering from hunger, homelessness, addictions, incarceration, mental illness and any other bondage. It is recognized that many contributors are motivated by faith in the Lord and appreciate the priority of a person’s spiritual needs. Partnerships with faith organizations are welcome as they frequently offer resources and facilities at little or no charge. Access to institutional funds, charitable trusts and government services is sought as an effective means of meeting the almost unlimited need present. Tactical and strategic solutions to the needs of hurting people are sought with a hope that suffering people will find a permanent solution to their problems spiritually, mentally and physically. Priority is given to strategic solutions as they are considered to have greater value overall.
Many of these lost souls are provided:
• Faith
• Food
• Clothing, blankets, and coats
• Hygiene kits
• Access and referrals to housing, DSS registration, employment,
• drug and alcohol rehabs and programs,
• and much more…
While all men and women need a restored relationship with God, we believe that the Lord has a special place in his heart for those who are broken. The workers of Mercy Ministries offer hope in Christ to all but a clear priority is given to those trapped by homelessness and all of the associated causes and impacts.
Expansion of the ministry may take the form of a base facility, a training program for additional outreach workers or a continuation program for ministry beneficiaries similar to Celebrate Recovery.
